Wollondilly Shire Council Partnership
Women NSW recently worked with Wollondilly Shire Council to produce a documentary about women in trades. The purpose of this documentary is to showcase non-traditional roles to girls and women as a viable career option.
We meet Amanda, a successful boilermaker who started learning her trade in school; Amy, a young butcher who overcame prejudice to become much admired in her community; Lauren, an award-winning horticulturalist who is making her way up the corporate ladder from getting her start in trade; and Victoria, a Master Painter of 15 years and owner of her own business - Ms Fix.
