This new topic includes indicators for Chlamydia, the most significant sexually transmissible infection in NSW, and for antenatal and maternity health. Chlamydia is the only sexually transmissible infection which women experience at higher rates than men. Men experience higher rates than women of Hepatitis C, Gonorrhoea and Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV). Antenatal and maternity health is covered as a focus topic from which selected indicators will be drawn for subsequent reports.
