2019 NSW Inspirational Women Online Showcase

These are your stories!

Firefighters, carers, entrepreneurs and mothers are among the remarkable women who submitted their video as part of the NSW Inspirational Women online showcase.

The showcase is a collection of empowering videos submitted by a diverse group of women.

Hear about their challenges, accomplishments and the lessons they have learned on their personal journeys.

The Inspirational Women Online Showcase is a direct action of the NSW Women’s Strategy 2018-2022.

The videos touch on the three focus areas of the NSW Women’s Strategy: economic opportunity and advancement, health and wellbeing and participation and empowerment.

ECONOMIC OPPORTUNITY AND ADVANCEMENT

Attract more students to STEM higher and vocational education

Creating entrepreneurial opportunities

Increase and support women’s representation in the arts, screen and cultural sectors

Boost the number of skilled construction workers and create fresh pathways through the Infrastructure Skills Legacy Program

Increase the number of women in senior leadership roles

Work with Jobs for NSW to support employment opportunities for women with children

Who could apply?

Any woman currently residing in New South Wales over the age of 18 years old.

Submission timelines

Initial round of submissions opened Monday 14th January 2019 and closed Thursday 31st January 2019. Participants were notified of the outcome in late February 2019.
