NSW Sexual Assault Strategy: Progress Report
The NSW Sexual Assault Strategy: Progress Report outlines the work the NSW Government has undertaken over the past 12 months to develop the NSW Sexual Assault Strategy and the work which will be undertaken over the next 12 months.
The purpose of the NSW Sexual Assault Strategy is to provide a comprehensive framework for preventing sexual assault, supporting victims and holding perpetrators accountable. The strategy will guide the delivery of evidence-based, high quality services to make victims feel heard and safe and support their recovery while improving the system as a whole.
The next phase of the Strategy will involve mapping of sexual assault programs and services, an extensive whole of-community consultation process and the development of directions for system reform across the intersecting domains of prevention and response to sexual assault.
