Women in NSW 2013 is the second report in an annual series on the status of NSW women.

It was launched by the Minister for Women, Pru Goward MP, on 14 June 2013.

Information in the report was sourced from Australian Bureau of Statistics collections, the Household Income and Labour Dynamics Australia longitudinal survey, and NSW Government surveys and administrative collections.

While some of this information is already publicly available, Women in NSW 2013 presents the information in a form that is accessible and easy to understand and use.

Progress against 90 indicators is tracked over time, with comparisons shown where possible for sub-groups of women and for NSW and Australia.

The Report provides benchmark data for use in policy development, programs and equity initiatives.

Feedback is welcome. All inquiries should be made to Women NSW on ph (02) 9248 1840 or email
